Love Actually.
Wednesday, February 21, 2007

I just watched this movie and it was great! Absolutely. I mean, love can happen anywhere, anytime, to anyone! That's amazing. I watched quite a feq of romance movies and they were all good, but none like this one. Even a 9 or 10 year old boy can fall in love to a girl and he could have the courage to pursue his love. 2 people that were seperated by language boundaries could get together. Not only by writing poem or daydreaming in the middle of the afternoon (I'm not saying poem is not good, it's actually very artistic), but by actually putting an effort to it.

People can meet by coincidence and then fall in love with each other. I mean, we are not limited by only friends or people around us that we know of. Love can actually be found anywhere. Okay, I said that already. =p

Well, some of the situations in this movie are not exactly good or matched with Christianity though. But, I don't really care of how they match it or how they oppose it. What I do care is the message inside the movie itself. That love, can't be limited, love needs to be pursued (you need to put a lot of effort into it), love needs sacrifices, love understands, love learns, love is not only between adults or teenagers, but can also between children, or even sisters, brothers, cousins, family members, etc. Love is something amazing that I learn this year and I thank God that He has brought me to this topic.

I just realized tonight that there is NOTHING compared to the love of God. I felt disgusted of myself, but yet, as I read in Max Lucado's book, God's love is a pursuing love. He follows us. He follows me. In times when I am not faithful, He IS FAITHFUL. Today, I'm writing this down, to remember how I appreciate and how I am --it's more than impressed or anything -- the LOVE of GOD.

Actually, I learn this unconditional type of love from 'him' too. Well, thank God that He has put him in my life. I know, there's a purpose behind it. =)

Anyway, got to go. Really need to sleep. Hope everything's going to be alright for tomorrow...=)
