Luke 21:1-28

As I about to read this passage, i was so sure that God would reveal something to me. ANd He is. This passage, though it looks scary at first, reminds me of the end that is coming closer and closer.

I see earthquakes everywhere, nations rise against nations, people who claim that they are Jesus altogether with their followers, famines, wars and revolutions. The world is really coming to its end. God reminds me to get serious with Him (Joshua 24:14-15). To serve Him faithfully and to fear Him as my Lord.

I have been up and down for the last couple of weeks. I need to get deeper with Him. No longer compromising with the world. God loves me so much, loves us so much in fact that He tells me this so that I can be watchful.

Lord, I need to stand firm in Your words. Not pretending to be Holy in front of You, but I do feel that You want me to get deeper in relationship with You. To be mature in You.

1 COr 6:2 "I tell You, NOW is the time of God's favor, NOW is the day of salvation."

I've been holding back from serving You, thinking that I was still too young to do this and that. But then, You keep on telling me that serving the Lord is now and that I should be grateful that You want to use me since my youth. I am so excited, Lord, to see what You would do in my life. Let this be NOT just another hype thing. Let this be my COMMITMENT to YOU.

1. I will serve the Lord from my youth, not compromising with what the world may offer.
2. Getting deeper in my relationship with You. It is how deep, not how long.
3. Walking in humility, power and Love. (Humble, power that You give to me, and Love that covers me)
4. To bless You with everything that I have -- weaknesses, talents, failures, etc.
5. To worship You in every season of the soul -- You are most powerful in my weaknesses.

I may not be able to open up to people around me and that makes me look like I'm not genuine. Lord, You know all about me, the deepest part of me. I want You to tell me whenever I'm not being genuine. I want to change. I don't want to stuck here. I believe that anyhow, You will come through for me. Amen. You are powerful, my life is powerful because You are my God. Amen.

Let my focus be YOU and YOU ALONE.

Help me to overcome my worry over:

1. University and how I'm going to survive for this summer classes.
2. Plans to do in Indonesia so that it will be fruitful.
3. Summer Mission fund

I claim in the name of Jesus that You will come through for me. Amen.
